How much does driveway or patio cleaning cost?
Patio cleaning starts from £99, and driveway or block paving cleaning from £149. Every quote gives you two options. Standard is a deep pressure clean. Premium, our most popular choice, adds a treatment that kills moss, lichen and black spot at the root so the surface stays clean for longer; on block paving it also includes weed removal and fresh kiln-dried sand. Premium starts from £149 for patios and £219 for driveways. John confirms a fixed price from your photos before he starts, with no call-out fee.
What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to clean tough surfaces like concrete, patios and driveways. Soft washing uses low pressure and a treatment that kills algae, mould and lichen, for surfaces high pressure would damage, such as render and delicate stone.
Will pressure washing damage my block paving or pointing?
No. John adjusts the pressure to suit each surface, and block paving is re-sanded afterwards with kiln-dried sand to keep the blocks firm. Old or delicate pointing is cleaned at lower pressure to avoid damage.
How long do results last?
Most surfaces stay clean for 12 to 18 months. Shaded, damp or north-facing areas, and paving near trees, usually need cleaning sooner as moss and algae grow back faster. A treatment or sealer extends the time between cleans.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as John can reach the area and use an outside tap, you can be out. He'll send a before-and-after photo report when the job is done. Parking details are agreed when booking.
